Family Outreach serves people with developmental disabilities and their families in western Montana.
We believe that all people have the right to participate in education, friendship, and community to achieve a full life. While we began our journey by helping families with young children, we have since expanded the scope of programs we offer to potentially cover an individual’s entire lifespan (depending on eligibility).
We provide wrap-around services for children and adults in their natural environments—where they feel most comfortable and safe. Our programs are voluntary, contingent upon caregiver or individual choice, and some State-supported services are free-of-charge. Family Outreach currently offers the following programs and services:
Support Services
Personalized programs that promote independence and community integration for adults with developmental disabilities.
Applied Behavioral Analysis
A scientifically validated approach focused on helping individuals learn new skills that enhance their lives.
Our Mission
Family Outreach provides individuals and families with personalized innovative support to empower people with disabilities.
Our Vision
Building communities where abilities are celebrated and every individual can achieve their fullest potential.

Learn More
At Family Outreach, we teach people how to become advocates for themselves and those they care for. We help families and individuals build their own resources and support systems, and encourage the development of skills that move people toward independence and inclusion in their communities.
